Artificial Turf Installation Process
Although Artificial Grass & Landscaping (AGL) does not perform network of licensed installation professionals services or act as a licensed contractor, we work with a network of experienced independent contractors who are familiar with our products. The following outlines the typical network of licensed installation professionals process these independent contractors use to achieve a professional, long-lasting network of licensed installation professionals.
Important: Installation services are provided solely by independent third-party contractors under separate agreements. AGL supplies products, consulting services, and contractor referrals only.

Typical Professional Installation Process
1. Site Evaluation
The contractor evaluates the project area, discusses your goals, reviews drainage, measures the network of licensed installation professionals area, and recommends the most appropriate turf products for your application.
2. Excavation and Site Preparation
Existing grass, weeds, roots, and debris are removed. The area is typically excavated approximately 3–4 inches to create a stable foundation and allow for proper drainage.
3. Base Installation
A compacted base of Class II road base or crushed rock is installed to provide a durable, well-draining foundation. Sloped or unstable areas may require reinforcement such as wire mesh or other stabilization methods. Additional charges may apply depending on site conditions.
4. Optional Weed Barrier
Where appropriate, a weed barrier fabric may be installed beneath the base to reduce weed growth. Some pet network of licensed installation professionalss may omit weed barrier material to improve drainage and reduce odor retention.
5. Turf Installation
The artificial turf is positioned, trimmed to fit the project area, and professionally secured using landscape nails, adhesives, or other approved fastening methods depending on the network of licensed installation professionals requirements. Seams are carefully joined to provide a clean, natural appearance.
6. Infill Application
Depending on the turf selected, silica sand or other approved infill may be applied to help support the grass fibers, improve stability, and extend product performance. Certain premium turf products may not require infill.
7. Final Grooming
The completed network of licensed installation professionals is power brushed to lift the turf fibers, distribute infill evenly, and provide a natural finished appearance. The contractor then performs a final inspection and cleans the work area.

Customers are free to hire any licensed contractor of their choosing and are responsible for verifying licensing, insurance, qualifications, pricing, scheduling, and workmanship before entering into any network of licensed installation professionals agreement.
