Our Professional Installation Process
Our licensed contractors follow a meticulous process to ensure your artificial turf is installed correctly for long-lasting performance and aesthetic appeal. - Site Assessment and Consultation: We begin with a thorough evaluation of your property to understand your vision, assess the area, and recommend the best turf type for your needs. This includes checking for drainage, soil conditions, and accessibility.
- Ground Preparation and Excavation: Existing grass, weeds, or debris are removed, and the ground is excavated (typically 3-4 inches) to create a smooth, level surface. This step ensures proper drainage and stability.
- Base Installation: A layer of Class II road base or crushed limestone screenings is laid and compacted to provide a solid, well-draining foundation. For sloped areas, we may install wire mesh to prevent shifting. Wire mesh if needed is 1.00 per sq ft additional to estimates below.
- Weed Barrier Application: A high-quality weed barrier is placed to prevent weed growth, ensuring a clean and low-maintenance lawn. (Note: This is optional for pet owners to avoid odor retention) *Applying weed barrier is an additional cost.
- Turf Installation: The synthetic turf is carefully laid out, cut to fit your space, and secured with 5 inch nails and or adhesive to a bender board for stability. Seams are meticulously joined for a seamless appearance.
- Infill Application: We apply infill materials (such as silica sand) to weigh down the turf, keep blades upright, and provide cushioning. The choice of infill depends on your specific needs, such as pet-friendliness or durability. Some of our 140 ounce turf does not require any sand infill.
- Final Touches and Cleanup: The turf is brushed to ensure a natural look, and the site is cleaned up. We conduct a final inspection to ensure everything meets our high standards.

Below is a breakdown of average costs for 2025, including materials and labor by our licensed contractors. Costs may vary based on location, turf quality, and site conditions (90% of our installation estimates fall into the pricing ranges shown below, please multiply your sq ft needed and then select your turf for your final installation cost).
